The Shop Savvy Consignment Program
Shop Savvy is a boutique consignment concept. Each consignor is taken on a first come, first served basis based on the items and season. Each item taken in for consignment is assessed based on condition, brand and the season. Shop Savvy reserves the right to decline items based on condition or items that may not meet brand criteria.
Why consign with Shop Savvy?
- Consignors receive 45% of the sale price of their item. Industry standard is 40%. Consigning with Shop Savvy puts more money in your pocket!
- Items are meticulously curated and selected for sale. It benefits everyone to pick the best items to display in the shop.
- Items will be heavily featured on socials with maximum exposure to ensure that they move in a timely manner!
How to Consign?
Step 1:
Please send an email to shopsavvysstyle@gmail.com with your name, phone number and a description of the items you wish to consign. Please include brand names and a description of items. High end designer items are welcomed, however please ensure they are authentic (an authentication will be completed upon intake); dupes are not accepted. Footwear is not accepted unless they are unworn and handbags must be in impeccable condition; the exception for handbags are designer items.
**During the winter months a selection of items for resort and vacation wear will be accepted dependent on brand criteria.**
Step 2:
If your items are accepted an appointment will be made for drop off and a quality check will be completed. Please ensure that items are freshly laundered and in excellent condition.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept items that are ripped, stained, pilled or show excessive amounts of wear. Rest assured that all items in the Shop have been meticulously reviewed.
Step 3:
A consignment contract will be sent for review and the consignment period is 3 months. After 2 months, items may be reduced in price based on consignee discretion. Unsold items after the 3 months can be returned to the consignor or may be donated. Consignors will have 1 week following the consignment period to pick up items. Step 4:
Payments are made on the 1st of each month via e-transfer. Consignors receive 45% of the sale price for each item. Pricing is set by the consignee and is based on item condition, brand and current market value. The exception is designer items which may undergo a consultation between consignee and consignor.
